HOW YOU CAN HELP
Empowering Women
Our vocational program has opened doors for the Rohingya refugee and other needy women to become self-sufficient. The poor women have limited opportunities to earn an income. Often, they also face discrimination in the workforce. Many women being the head of households seriously suffer in running the family due to financial constraints.
HABUN skill training program is empowering poor women Rohingya refugees and other needy women. Our sewing machine training and free machine distribution program provide them with the skills needed to open a small business in their household.
Our training centers are located in Cox’s Bazar, Mymensingh, and Narayanganj districts and we are gradually opening centers across Bangladesh. After completion of the program, many women are now earning incomes by manufacturing school uniforms for students at HABUN learning programs. Many women are now able to support their families.
Your generous support can change the life of a poor woman.
